After learning that my husband, Connor, and I were expecting, I immediately started researching what services a doula provided and quickly learned that I needed a doula in my life. Jess has been an essential part of our transition into parenthood as a postpartum doula. Her expertise, knowledge, services, and friendly personality have been an incredible asset to our growing family. We have learned so much from her in the last couple months and have gotten the care and rest that myself, Connor, and Sloane have needed. We always look forward to the days she visits; we couldn’t be more thankful! On top of everything she provides for us, she goes above and beyond when we need guidance, information about local shops and services (we’re new to Grey Bruce), lots and lots of encouragement, and not to mention, giving a sweet and thoughtful homemade gift for me to enjoy and relax. She also provided tools and knowledge to use during labour and delivery as she was not able to be in the hospital as a secondary support person due to covid. Her services are invaluable and her warm, fun personality make her perfect for this role and easy to welcome into any home. We highly recommend Jess to anyone expecting!
